Vertigo Free Zone – Durrës Industrial Park” officially gains the “Strategic Investment
The investment initiative “Vertigo Free Zone – Durrës Industrial Park,” proposed by Vertigo sh.p.k, has officially been awarded Strategic Investor status.
Through Decision No. 22, dated November 21, 2024, the Strategic Investment Committee of the Republic of Albania approved the granting of Strategic Investment/Investor status to Vertigo sh.p.k for its proposed development, “Vertigo Free Zone – Durrës Industrial Park.” This recognition reflects the project’s alignment with national strategic priorities and its strong potential to drive sustainable economic growth.
The project falls within the scope of Technological and Economic Development Areas (TEDA) and will operate as a cutting-edge industrial park focused on facilitating warehousing, processing, manufacturing, and trading (import-export) activities. Strategically located in the village of Xhafzotaj, near the Tirana-Durrës highway and in close proximity to the Port of Durrës, the Vertigo Free Zone – Durrës Industrial Park is envisioned as a dynamic hub for both domestic and international investors. It will offer modern infrastructure, along with competitive fiscal and financial incentives, designed to enhance the ease of doing business.
